Flag it. Flip it. Move on.
86 the guesswork. Run the bar.
A live stock board every bartender can flip in one tap, a shift handoff line that actually gets read, and checklists that hold everyone accountable — no POS, no app, no training required.
How it works
Built for the middle of a rush
Set up the bar
Name your bar, add stock categories (liquor, beer, mixers, garnish — whatever fits), and get a manager link plus a shared staff PIN.
Hand staff the PIN
Bartenders open the bar link on any phone, enter the PIN and their name — no app, no account — and see the live board.
Run the shift
Flip an item to 86’d the second it runs out, drop a handoff note for the next shift, and check off prep and closing tasks as you go.
One-tap 86 board
Flip any item between OK, Low, and 86’d — no counting, no spreadsheets, just the status that matters mid-rush.
Instant stock alerts
The moment something is 86’d, the manager and the rest of the floor see it — before a guest orders it.
Shift handoff board
Leave a note for the next shift — broken tap, VIP walk-in, low ice — and mark it resolved once it’s handled.
Urgent broadcasts
Managers can push an urgent note straight to every bartender’s screen — "86 the espresso martini," done.
Opening, closing & prep lists
Reusable checklists per shift type, stamped with who checked off what and when.
CSV stock export
One click to download the current stock sheet — status, par levels, and units — ready to hand to a supplier.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
What is Selektah 86?
Selektah 86 is a free bar management tool for bartenders and bar managers. It gives every bar a live stock board (mark items OK, Low, or 86’d), a shift handoff comms board, and reusable opening/closing/prep checklists — all shared with the team through a PIN, with no app or account required.
Why is it called "86"?
In bar and kitchen slang, "86" means an item is out of stock or off the menu. Selektah 86 is built around that exact moment — the second something is 86’d, the whole team and the manager know instantly.
Do bartenders need to download an app or create an account?
No. The manager shares a link and a 4-digit staff PIN. Bartenders open the link on any phone, enter the PIN and their name once, and get the live board — no app store, no sign-up.
How does the stock board work?
Each item — a bottle, keg, mixer, or supply — has a simple three-state status: OK, Low, or 86’d (out). Anyone on shift can flip the status in one tap. Flipping something to 86’d instantly notifies the manager and the rest of the floor.
What are the checklists for?
Managers build reusable opening, closing, and prep checklists once. Staff check items off during their shift, and each item is stamped with who checked it off and when — useful for accountability without a paper sign-off sheet.
Can staff and managers message each other?
Yes. A shared handoff board lets anyone leave a note — for the next shift or for the manager — and mark it urgent if it needs immediate attention. Managers can also broadcast an urgent note to the whole floor.
Is Selektah 86 free?
Yes. Creating a bar, adding unlimited stock items and categories, and using the checklists and comms board are all completely free.
Can I export the stock list?
Yes. The manager dashboard has a one-click CSV export of the current stock sheet — item, category, status, par level, unit, and who last updated it — handy for placing a supplier order.
